Our visitors’ safety is important to us and we want to be proactive in serving you.

Weekday Morning and Afternoon Zazen is open to in-person attendees who have been fully vaccinated and are wearing masks. Contact Stephen for more information. Contact Tanto Vicki for more information about attending the Sunday Program in person, if you are fully vaccinated and wearing a mask. Most other events take place via the Zoom Zendo. Please join the Center there! Updated December 16, 2021.

We realize there is heightened sensitivity regarding events and public gatherings, and we always want you to feel comfortable coming to Zen Center. We follow the guidelines provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and local public health authorities to ensuring your well-being.

We encourage you to maintain your personal health by washing hands frequently, avoid hand-shaking, etc., to avoid the spread of any flu-like illness. Zen Center is taking extra precautions, such as hand sanitizer for everyone and active disinfection of our building and equipment. If you have any questions, please reach out to us in the office from 9:30 - 11:30, 713-869-1952, or send us an email.

As always, please stay home if you are not feeling well.

We encourage our visitors to follow reputable science, implement the recommendations of public health agencies, and continue to participate in community activities that build human connectivity.
